MIXED PAIR & MASTERS >50 (ABOVE 80kg)
(1st October 2022)

Nothing much to write here as I hv already written in my 2 previous posts about my comeback.
Yes, I made a comeback in competition after being away for 8 years in the recent Asian Championships. Once a bodybuilder always a bodybuilder. I believe firmly on that!
It was my first time doing Mixed Pairs with my partner, Shelen. We did our best. Up against much younger competitors was really not easy. I think condition wise, we were the best among all on tht day but I think the judges placed a lot of emphasise on the routines. Eventhough our routine was pretty good but we stil need to improve a lot especially in the 'difficulty' part.
We are still pleased with the results Eventhough expected to be placed higher but it's ok since it was our first try in this category. It was very new to us. I strongly believe that as we improve on our routine we will do much better.
As for the Masters above 50 class, I feel that I still need more time to be more competitive. I was pretty dry but lacked of size coz I rested for a long time.
God Willing, I wil continue to compete in the years to come. And try my best to improve in every show. Cheers!
